Hub Leadership

The SWFL HI AI Innovation Hub is led by an Executive Team that brings together higher education, community foundation, and regional business leadership. Our coalition is governed by a broader Steering Committee representing all named partners.

DR. GUIDO MINAYA

President

Dr. Guido Minaya is CEO of Minaya Learning Global Solutions and President of the SWFL HI AI Innovation Hub. He brings more than 25 years of experience helping local, national, and global clients strengthen talent, learning, and workforce capability. Since 2023, he has focused on human-centered AI capability development. He previously served as President of the Horizon Foundation and Chair of the Horizon Council.

ABDUL MUHAMMAD II

Vice President

Abdul Muhammad II is President and Chief Growth Officer of MDM Ventures, a Southwest Florida-based brand, growth, and AI strategy firm. He brings decades of experience across brand strategy, digital marketing, executive communications, AI adoption, and entrepreneurship. He serves the Hub as Vice President with a focus on coalition building, communications, and helping the region’s businesses, nonprofits, and leaders adopt AI in practical, human-centered ways.

KIM WILLIAMS

Secretary

Kim Williams is Vice President of Operations at Collaboratory, Southwest Florida’s regional community foundation. She brings deep experience in community-based program delivery and serves the Hub as Secretary, with a focus on operational coordination, event and workshop programming, and ensuring the Hub’s work remains accessible across the region.

MARY GENTILE

Treasurer

As Treasurer of the SWFL HI AI Innovation Hub, Mary Gentile brings more than 20 years of experience as a business owner in Lee County, along with a strong commitment to advancing practical, human-centered AI adoption across SWFL. She supports initiatives that connect business, education, workforce development, and community leadership while helping ensure innovation remains accessible, ethical, and grounded in real-world impact. Mary is passionate about building collaborative solutions that strengthen the region’s long-term economic resilience and opportunity.

Steering Committee

The Hub’s broader Steering Committee includes leadership representatives from each named coalition partner. The Steering Committee meets regularly to align programs, surface opportunities, and ensure the Hub’s work serves the full regional economy.
