Women’s Legacy Fund

Established in 2008, the Women’s Legacy Fund is built on generosity, gratitude, and the unity of women’s leadership. When women come together, as strategic partners in philanthropy, they form an unstoppable force. By pooling financial and intellectual resources, members make thoughtful grant choices that uplift the entire community.

Our Three goals:

Amplify the power women possess to strengthen their communities through philanthropic giving.

Educate

Educate women and the community on current issues and philanthropic strategies.

Inspire

Inspire women to be leaders in philanthropy

Engagement Levels:

WLF Annual:
A voting member that contributes $250 annually to join WLF or keep their membership current. Annual members recceive invitations to attend the fall and spring luncheons.

WLF Donor:
A voting member who contributes $2500 or more. At this level, members receive invitations to the fall and spring luncheons, and invitations to 4 additional inspirational opportunities. This one-time gift can be paid upfront or paid as a 2-year pledge. After paid in full for one year, the annual membership fee of $250 will be paid to keep the membership current.

Prima Donor:
Prima Donors are our highest philanthropic level. Members who contribute $10,000 or more receive invitations to additional inspirational opportunities or experiences. This one-time gift can be paid upfront or as a pledge over 4 years.

Since no single organization can solve big social problems alone, Collaboratory is using its community leadership role to bring together local organizations and people from different sectors (like businesses, nonprofits, and government) to work on common goals. This collaboration aims to improve Southwest Florida and make it a better place to live, work, learn, and play.

The impact dashboard shows key regional goals that everyone is working toward, with the aim of solving social issues by 2040. It provides a point-in-time snapshot of progress by tracking important indicators that show how the community is changing over time. While these changes take time and there is often a delay between when the data is collected and becomes available, the dashboard helps us understand where we need to focus our efforts to achieve our shared goals.

In 2022, in concert with hundreds of individuals and organizations, we collectively identified the issues of housing and health as the next most-pressing areas of need. Based on that data, we’ve modeled FutureMakers Coalition, our nine-year initiative, to establish two new regional coalitions: Home and Health & Wellness.
