Hybrid Hybrid Event

Grant Writing Community of Practice, July 9, 2026

July 9 from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Hybrid Hybrid Event
Free
Many nonprofits struggle to secure funding, not because they lack passion, but because they lack the systems, structure, and positioning funders expect to see. In this session, participants will explore the most common reasons grant applications fail before the writing process even begins.

This class focuses on grant readiness, organizational positioning, and fundability. Participants will learn what funders actually evaluate when reviewing proposals, how weak internal systems impact funding decisions, and what separates fundable organizations from those constantly chasing grants without results.

Topics include:
• grant readiness
• mission clarity
• measurable impact
• internal systems
• common nonprofit gaps
• alignment between programs and funding opportunities

Participants will leave with a completed Grant Readiness Assessment designed to identify strengths, weaknesses, and immediate opportunities for improvement within their organization.

Please RSVP to attend. All registered participants will receive a calendar invitation via email containing the Zoom link for virtual attendance. If attending in person, please plan to arrive at Collaboratory at least 10 minutes before the event begins.
